You get the original file
StarMaker recordings are typically stored as a ready-to-play video file. When you paste a link, we read the recording ID and point you straight to that original file. Nothing is converted or re-encoded.
Why we don't convert
Converting would mean re-encoding your recording and could reduce quality. By linking to the original file, you always keep the exact quality StarMaker captured.
What about audio only?
If an audio-only file is available for a recording on StarMaker's CDN, you can save that original too. We don't strip audio out of video — we only point you to files StarMaker already provides.
